Sophie is a Visual artist and Filmmaker based in Hackney Wick, London

She has worked on a wide range of feature films and high-end TV drama productions as Assistant Director, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in creative storytelling and technical filmmaking. In addition, her background as a visual artist and founder of Astral Projections, a live psychedelic liquid light show company, brings a unique and artistic perspective to her work.

Her work as Director has been officially selected and won awards at various festivals, from Toronto’s Minute Madness and New York Flash to Berlin and Japan. Also landing her interviews at Aesthetica for her work.

Her work as Astral Projections has been featured in major events, from performing in the main arena at The Barbican to main stages at festivals such as Latitude as a solo artist.

Sophie is a strong advocate for diversity in the film industry, and as a female director, she is committed to providing a platform for other female filmmakers.
